Who Should Consider Screening
Routine screening tests are specifically for individuals who currently feel healthy but want to be proactive about their gastrointestinal health. You should consider screening if you fall into any of the following categories:
-
Adults aged 45 and above.
-
Individuals with a family history of colorectal cancer or advanced polyps.
-
Anyone who wants certainty about their health using the latest medical testing technologies.
Important Note on Preventative Care: Advanced blood and stool tests are excellent tools for detecting early cancer. However, if you are looking to prevent cancer from forming, traditional colonoscopy remains the superior standard. A colonoscopy allows a physician to locate and safely remove precancerous polyps before they have the chance to turn malignant.
A Vital Medical Note on Symptoms
If you are currently experiencing physical symptoms, you require an immediate diagnostic consultation rather than a routine screening test. Please contact the clinic urgently if you have noticed any of the following:
-
Unexplained changes in your bowel habits.
-
Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool.
-
Unexplained weight loss.
-
Severe or persistent abdominal pain.
